Dojang Rules
These rules are for the safety and comfort of everyone, and are most common sense. Repeated disregard of these rules could lead to your dismissal from the club
STUDENTS
q Arrive 10 minutes before the start of the lesson so that the class may begin on time.
q On entering and leaving the dojang (training hall) you must bow.
q You must be clean and presentable at all times.
q You must learn to tie your own belt!
q NOjewellery of any description should be worn.
q Students must train barefoot or with approved Taekwondo shoes.
q Do not eat while you are training, healthy snacks maybe allowed at Instructors discretion
q Only water to be brought into the Dojang, NO fizzy drinks allowed.
q Instructors and black belts to be called Sir/Miss.
q There will be NO swearing or abusive slang tolerated in the class
q Pads and other training equipment must NOTbe thrown across the room.
q If you arrive late for class, please ask your instructor politely if you can join in.
q When you leave the dojang take all your empty bottles and rubbish with you.
q Always remove or hide your belt when you’re outside.
q Any misuse of Taekwondo in / outside of class may result in immediate dismissal from club
SPECTATORS
q Please watch your child train as quietly as possible.
q Please refrain from interrupting the class to speak to your child, unless urgent.
q Please remove all rubbish from the dojang on leaving.
q Try to avoid bringing any food into the dojang (training hall)
